The European Market and CPR
The Construction Products Regulation is now mandatory across all member states the implementation of the Regulation can become very confusing. Whilst some member states are actively Regulating the use of cables other member states such as the UK have decided not to interfere in the market and encourage self-regulation.
What is becoming clear across European member states is the push to normalise the minimum Euroclass performance, for at least public buildings including hospitals, schools, shopping areas and other high rise or densely populated constructions towards System 1+ CCA and B2CA.
